The Carolina Panthers have suffered through lots of adversity so far this season, but that doesn’t mean fans shouldn’t remain thankful.

Through the first 11 games of the 2019 NFL season, the Carolina Panthers have been faced with a true roller-coaster ride. From losing starting quarterback Cam Newton for the year, to winning four-straight, to fielding a legitimate MVP candidate, the Panthers have worked through every possible emotion this season. With that being said, some things are best forgotten, however, others should be given the appreciation they deserve.

To wrap up Old North Banter’s Thanksgiving series, we conclude with the top-three things Panthers fans should be most thankful for. On Monday, the series was kicked off with N.C. State and ECU, while Tuesday brought Duke and UNC, and yesterday saw the Hornets and Hurricanes. The Panthers have a lot to be thankful for in 2019, even if the record doesn’t exactly indicate it. Carolina has a roster full of talent, but due to injuries, inconsistencies, and general shortcomings, it doesn’t appear to be transferring into postseason contention.

As mentioned earlier, the Panthers have more than a few very talented players on the current roster, however, only three things/people can make our cut. Will it be All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly, or how about the five wins with Kyle Allen? Carolina’s elite running back in Christian McCaffrey is a no-brainer, but behind him, there’s a logjam of options.
