It’s the last game of the season against a divisional opponent.

Not to mention it is a game against THE divisional opponent. Temple walked away with the East last year. They only lost to Notre Dame and USF (bizarrely) during the regular season. They lost to Houston in the championship game, but that was a pretty good Houston Cougar team.

Now this game is going to crucial regardless whether ECU has five wins or ten wins coming into it. A five win ECU team will need this game to grab a bowl berth. A ten win ECU team will need this game to get to the AAC Championship Game.
