The American Athletic Conference released the official 2020 ECU football schedule on Tuesday.

The Pirates, coming off four consecutive losing seasons, are looking to get things moving in the right direction again. In Mike Houston’s first season, ECU won four games, increasing their win total from the previous three years (three). ECU is fourth in the nation in returning production for 2020 at 83 percent. Most of that comes from the offensive side of the ball with 87 percent coming back. They return 79 percent of production on defense including defensive lineman Chance Purvis who was recently suspended.

There will likely be additions and subtractions from ECU and every team on their schedule between now and the fall, but there’s still a good feel for how the teams will look. Even with nearly 200 days until the first game,  it’s never too early to make some win-loss predictions.
