Duke Blue Devils at Army Black Knights Preview
The Duke Blue Devils get a final trek out of the conference when they go up to West Point to take on the Black Knights of Army. This will mark the second time this season that a team from the Big Four has traveled to Michie Stadium. Wake Forest held on for a 17-14 win against Army earlier in the year.

For the Devils it is another opportunity to try and rise in the polls. Last week left Duke hanging out in that section of the others receiving votes where promotion could be forthcoming. A win against Army sends them to the bye week with a single loss and time for other teams to screw it up to help them out.

X – Don’t Take It Easy
Army is 1-4 on the year, but they pushed their opponents in every game. The Blue Devils need to respect that and the triple option attack. Sleep walking into a game where the team uses the option is a bad idea. Duke’s offense should also take the opportunity to get on track. There could be some ground to be had against an undersized Army line.

Y – Keep Up the D
Duke’s defense has had two very good games against run oriented offenses in back to back weeks. There is no good reason why Jeremy Cash and the crew cannot do so again against Army. If they play smart, they should knock out their third solid performance in a row.
Z – Don’t give up the Ball
If Wake Forest could tell Duke anything about Army, it would be to not give them the ball on turnovers. The great secret of the Wake-Army game was that Army only scored on Wake turnovers. The Deacs had the game in hand otherwise.
Prediction: 30-7 Duke
