The Carolina Panthers nearly kept their win streak going in Week 12 despite facing the juggernaut Kansas City Chiefs. Although Carolina fell short on Sunday, the improved play of quarterback Bryce Young once again gave the Panthers a real chance to secure another victory.

Young has impressed many who follow the team, but his latest performance has even caught the attention of arguably the NFL's best coach.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Young is "very talented" after narrowly defeating Carolina in Week 12. In addition, he believes the Panthers made a "nice move" by selecting the former Alabama standout in 2023.

Considering the roller coaster of a year Young has had, these words of encouragement from a living NFL legend like Reid surely have to give him a big boost in confidence. They also reflect the growth he's enjoyed in 2024, overcoming obstacles like his benching to nearly upsetting the Super Bowl favorites behind his play.

Carolina should take note of Reid's comments as well. His track record of talent evaluation throughout his career speaks for itself, and the fact he's shown a legitimate belief in Young should make the organization more confident in committing to his development full-stop.

The fact the Panthers have already named Young their starter for Week 12 is a positive step for everyone involved after previously leaving that decision up in the air following the last two victories. Now it's on the former No. 1 pick to continue playing this and regain his starting title for good,
