The 2024 NFL regular-season schedule is out. Panthers fans already faced the harsh reality that they are the only team without a primetime game for the entire season. However, it looks like the disrespect doesn't stop there when it comes to the 2024 Carolina Panthers.

Not only are the Panthers underdogs in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, they are underdogs in every single game in the season. In fact, they are the only team in the league other than the New England Patriots to earn this dishonor.

Panthers News: Carolina Disrespected in Game Odds in 2024 Schedule

This doesn't mean that the Panthers are going 0-17 this season. It probably doesn't mean that they will repeat last season's miserable 2-15 record. It does mean, however, that oddsmakers aren't buying into the additions the Panthers made this offseason.

Carolina will have more playmakers on the offensive end next season. They traded for Diontae Johnson, and drafted Xavier Legette and Jonathon Brooks while improving the offensive line with the signings of Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis. Yet, it seems like these weren't enough to convince the betting markets that the Panthers will show significant improvement in 2024.

The most surprising games in which the Panthers are underdogs are the three home games against the Saints, Cardinals, and the Giants. On FanDuel Sportsbook, they are currently 1-point underdogs in each of these games, but Carolina has a very good chance of beating at least one if not all of these opponents.

There will be plenty of shifts in these odds. Once the season starts, the Panthers might move into a favorite status in some of these games, but for now, it seems like Dave Canales and his team are genuinely underrated by oddsmakers.
