A few Panthers rookies gathered at the 2024 NFLPA Rookie Premiere on Saturday, an opportunity for new players to meet with NFL marketing partners and introduce themselves following the draft.
WR Xavier Legette, RB Jonathon Brooks, and TE Ja'Tavion Sanders were all in attendance, giving fans their first look at the rookie trio in uniform. These three are expected to be part of a new offensive foundation in Carolina, so it's great to officially see them suited up for the first time.

It's an exciting time for Panthers fans as the organization hopes to bounce back from a dreadful 2-15 finish last season. The pass-catching core is suddenly promising, with Legette, Sanders, Adam Thielen, and free-agent WR Diontae Johnson now in the fold.
Brooks is a weapon in the passing game as well. With a reworked offensive line, Bryce Young should have a much stronger supporting cast to attack defenses with. New head coach Dave Canales is a respected offensive mind, and we've already seen encouraging clips from Legette and Young working together.
Oddsmakers don't expect a huge immediate improvement for Carolina. The Panthers are +730 to make the playoffs ($10 to profit $73) at FanDuel Sportsbook, though they have the advantage of playing in the NFL's worst division in the NFC South.
If these rookies deliver on their immense promise, Carolina could look like a playoff contender sooner than later. We'll see how they look in OTAs and how quickly Brooks can get back on the field following his ACL tear, though the future looks bright for Panthers fans nonetheless.
