4. Harrison Mevis - K, Missouri

Harrison Mevis, affectionately referred to as the "Thiccer Kicker," was one of the best kickers in college football and could supplant veteran Eddy Pineiro by the start of the season.

In four years as Missouri's kicker, Mevis made 86 of 103 field goals (83.5%) and 147 of 148 extra points (99.3%). Pineiro is in the last year of his contract and Carolina signed Mevis to a multi-year contract, so it sounds like the organization would prefer the former Tiger win the job as well.

He set the SEC record with a 61-yard field goal to beat Kansas State early in the season, helping propel Missouri to its most successful season in years. Perhaps he can have a similar impact on the Panthers.

While his accuracy from long range isn't as high as Carolina ultimately wants, there's no denying that Mevis has one of the strongest legs in the class. If he can become more accurate with professional training, he could have a long career in the NFL.

Mevis shows up in the clutch and has every opportunity to become the new kicker to support the Panthers' ascending offense.
