The Carolina Panthers ended the 2024 season on a good note with a 44-38 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers showed a lot of growth in the second half of the ‘24 season, which should excite fans going into the offseason.
Speaking of the offseason, Carolina’s front-office brass is already working on targeting players in the 2025 NFL Draft class. While the NFL Scouting Combine and pro days are still multiple weeks away, teams are checking out the next generation of NFL players at the various college all-star games and scrimmage (Hula Bowl, College Gridiron Showcase, FCS Bowl, and Tropical Bowl).
According to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, the Panthers were one of many teams that met with Minnesota defensive lineman Danny Striggow. Fowler adds that Striggow has a consensus mid-to-late Day 3 grades from teams.
Minnesota DL Danny Striggow had a nice week at Hula.

Consensus mid-to-late day 3 grades from teams, Striggow met with a long list of clubs, including the following:
• Commanders
• Eagles
• Panthers
• 49ers
• Steelers
• Bucs
• Giants
• Lions
• Broncos
• Falcons
•…
The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman had a solid five-year collegiate career with the Golden Gophers. This season with Minnesota, Striggow had 52 combined tackles, six tackles for loss, five sacks, and a forced fumble.
Striggow was named to the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention for three consecutive seasons. The Minnesota native would be a solid addition to a Panthers’ defense that could use more depth on the defensive line.
That said, reports about various draft prospects meeting with different teams at all-star games or combine, should be taken with a grain of salt. Every team in the NFL will almost meet with every prospect.
However, when a prospect has a top-30 visit with a particular club it could indicate that the team has said player on their draft board or could draft them. After spending draft capital on offense at the top of the 2024 NFL Draft, it will be interesting to see if the Panthers address the defense in this year’s draft.
