3. Austin Corbett, OL

Who said only defensive players would follow Wilks to New York? As the former interim head coach following Matt Rhule’s firing, there’s a chance Wilks made an impression on some of the other areas of the team, including offensive lineman Austin Corbett.

Corbett signed a three-year, $26.25 million contract with Carolina in 2022 but couldn’t stay healthy after the first year of the deal. The 29-year-old tore his ACL in the regular season finale in 2022 and tore his MCL in the same knee the following season.

After rupturing his biceps tendon last year, Corbett has played nine games over the past two seasons. With a laundry list of injuries, Corbett's time in Carolina is likely done and could also precede a reunion with Wilks.

4. Tommy Tremble, TE

Tremble is another player who's spent his entire career with the Panthers but hasn’t made a big enough impact to warrant a second contract. The Notre Dame product has 85 catches for 782 yards and nine touchdown receptions during his four years in Carolina. He's also been an average blocker since coming into the league.

That being said, Tremble is good enough to find another job and the Jets could be a fit. Jeremy Ruckert has established himself as a strong pass-blocker but his receiving skills haven’t matched up as he’s failed to post over 20 catches or 200 receiving yards in each of his three seasons. Tremble’s receiving skills could complement Tyler Conklin nicely.
