Joe Giles-Harris and Ben Humphreys

The strength of this defense is clearly the linebackers as Joe Giles-Harris and Ben Humphreys are two of the best in the ACC. The matchup between the Black Knights’ option attack and the Blue Devils’ linebackers will likely be the deciding factor for this game.

In the game last year, the Black Knights only had one pass attempt, which they completed for 42 yards. However they pounded the rock on the ground with 57 carries for 226 yards.

There is no reason to expect a different gameplan from Army in this game and it should be a busy day for these two linebackers. If Giles-Harris and Humphreys are able to plug the running lanes and diagnose the play quickly, the Blue Devils should have a good chance here.
