These are the key players that will have the biggest impact on the outcome of the game for the Duke football team against Army.

The Duke football team will be kicking off the 2018 season against the last team they lost to last year, the Army Black Knights. The Blue Devils were in the midst of a five-game losing streak that was extended with a 21-16 loss on the road.

It was a messy game for the Blue Devils as they saw a punt blocked for a touchdown and a Daniel Jones fumble that helped Army build a 21-3 lead. Late touchdowns on the ground by Jones and Brittain Brown made it close but wasn’t enough.

The season got better after this game against Army as they went on to win their final three games, including a bowl win at the Quick Lane Bowl.

The focus for the Duke football team entering this game will need to be eliminate those turnovers and stop the run game of the Black Knights.
