  1.  At Tennessee Volunteers – September 1

The story behind the Tennessee Volunteers for the last couple of seasons has circulated about whether the team was back in primetime condition yet. Each year someone seems to pick them to win the SEC East and they seem to just miss it.

Last year the Vols went 5-1 in the SEC East but 0-2 against the West to miss out on the SEC Championship game. This year they get Florida at home while Georgia and South Carolina have new head coaches. Expectations will be high again.

Which is why this game is so important for the Mountaineers. The Vols may be good, but the Mountaineers are a veteran group on offense and week one is the best time to sneak up on somebody. Then this game should keep its quality win shine as the season progresses.

A win in Knoxville and the way is open to a Group of Five berth. A loss and the Mountaineers are merely on track for another good to great season.
