Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs Indiana Hoosiers Preview
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will see a whole different world when the Indiana Hoosiers come to town. The two more traditional basketball powers will lead to Wake seeing a diametrically different office than it saw the week before when they went up to West Point to play Army and the option.

Indiana coach and North Carolina alum Kevin Wilson cut his teeth as offensive coordinator for Oklahoma under Bob Stoops. That meant that he is quite versed in the spread offense and the ball will be thrown quite a bit more than Army was doing. That means a higher scoring game and a bigger test.

X – For the Sake of an Ankle (John Wolford)
For the second week, Wake Forest will be trying to manufacture offense through its backup quarterback Kendall Hinton. That was a bit of an adventure last week. Hinton offered a run attack on broken plays, but his accuracy on passing plays left something to be desired. It will be a challenge to see where the Wake offense is going to come from this week.

Y – The Defensive Test – Jordan Howard
The Hoosiers own the nation’s leading rusher. Howard has 507 yards of rushing over the last three weeks. He offers balance that previous Indiana teams have sought but never quite found. At 6’1” 230, Howard is a load to bring down. He ran for 203 rushing yards last week against Western Kentucky. If the Deacs cannot stop Howard, then game over.
Z – The Trash Talk Factor
Early in the year, Coach Wilson said quite confidently that the Hoosiers were going to beat the Demon Deacons big time. How will that locker room material affect the Deacs. Can that motivation overcome the messed up ankle of John Wolford.
Prediction: 28-10, Indiana
