Week 13 AP Football Poll: Duke #25
Well, another week has gone by in college football. Here we come with the week 13 AP Football Poll. There is now only one undefeated team not named Marshall left in the country, the once and future number one Florida State Seminoles. The Seminoles tried to lose to the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, but just could not seem to let it happen in the end.

There is a new number two team also as Alabama put down the upstart Mississippi State Bulldogs to prove their own playoff bona fides. Oregon is sitting at three with the Bulldogs now right behind them. Five and six are occupied by the TCU-Baylor debate, which will probably rear its ugly head again before this season is over.
Georgia Tech is now at number 17, and they are the leader in the clubhouse of the Coastal Division. Duke managed to remain in the polls at the twenty-five spot despite their loss to Virginia Tech. To their credit, Ohio State did not leave the rankings when the Hokies beat them either.
Marshall and Colorado State are both hanging around the poll. With East Carolina’s loss to Cincinnati on Thursday, it is safe to say that one of those two teams will be the Alliance Bowl representative from the non-Power Five conferences.
