FBS Preview: College Football Week 11
This week in the FBS Preview sees Wake Forest welcome Clemson and NC State welcome Georgia Tech to their home fields. State will be looking for the win that will make then bowl eligible. Duke looks to maintain their lead in the Coastal against Syracuse, and the Mountaineers look to continue their offensive momentum against Louisiana-Monroe.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons (2-6) vs Clemson Tigers (6-2)

The Demon Deacons welcome the Tigers into Winston-Salem. Wake will be hoping that the Tigers sleep walk into this game as they have done before, and allow their defense to shut down the Clemson offense. That is isn’t very likely to happen.
Saturday – 11/8
Duke Blue Devils (7-1) at Syracuse Orange (3-6)
Time: 12:30 PM
TV: RSN
Syracuse has played Tobacco Road teams back to back over the past two weeks. Now they get their third installment. The Orange are still working through injuries and have been hurt by turnovers. Duke is looking to build on a Coastal Division lead and continue a balanced scoring offense.

N.C. State Wolfpack (5-4) vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-2)

Time to see how much NC State learned from having Georgia Southern on the schedule. The Wolfpack are looking for a win to be bowl eligible. Georgia Tech is trying to keep nipping at Duke’s heels in the Coastal. This will be a matchup of opposites. State likes to score quickly, while Georgia Tech likes to ground it out.
Appalachian State Mountaineers (3-5) vs Louisiana-Monroe War Hawks(3-5)
Time: 3:30 PM
TV: ESPN3
Though the records are the same, the War Hawks will bring a good challenge to Boone. They held Texas A&M to within striking distance last week. Their strength is their defensive front, while the strength of Appalachian State has been its running game. Something will have to give.
