The Carolina Panthers 2024 season can be described as a roller coaster ride. In Dave Canales' first season, the Panthers have shipped out multiple WRs and even benched Bryce Young for a couple of games.

Young eventually got his job back and has played better football since returning to the field. The Panthers are 3-11 entering Week 16 and seek to end the regular season with some momentum heading into the offseason.

They'll use the next three games to evaluate the roster but also parted ways with some guys. Back on Dec. 13, Carolina waived safety Jammie Robinson and he already landed another opportunity.

Panthers News: Jammie Robinson Claimed off Waivers

According to Joe Person, the Arizona Cardinals claimed Robinson off of waivers. The 23-year-old came into the league as a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Panthers. He's played in 21 games for the Panthers, including two starts. In those games, Robinson finished with 20 total tackles.

This year, he played in 65 total snaps but fell out of favor due to the depth at safety. Carolina has Jordan Fuller, Demani Richardson, Xavier Woods, Nick Scott, Lonnie Johnson Jr., and Sam Franklin Jr. in the safety room.

There wasn't much room left for Robinson, so the Panthers had to part ways with their former fifth-round pick. Robinson has done the bulk of his work on special teams, notching 366 career snaps there.

Since the Cardinals claimed him through waivers, he's signed through 2026 and will have a chance to impress the new coaching staff. Robinson has good movement and footwork while playing with a high motor. Those traits go a long way for a player looking to stick onto the roster.

Things didn't work in Carolina for Robinson but he has a new chance in Arizona.
