Duke basketball fans got a glimpse of the future on Wednesday night in Maryland as Class of 2024 signee Darren Harris put on a show against St. Mary’s Ryken (Leonardtown, Md.).

The Paul VI standout scored 52 points on an efficient 14-of-19 shooting from the field and 7-of-11 from three-point range in a dominating 101-58 victory.

Hall, who is 247Sports' No. 49 ranked prospect in 2024, was knocking down shots from beyond the arc, driving the ball to the rim, and getting transition buckets. It was a complete performance from the senior small forward, who is averaging 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

If you are a Blue Devils, you must be excited about the future of the men’s basketball program, as Harris is a part of an excellent 2024 recruiting class.

Along with Harris, Duke also signed Cooper Flagg, who is regarded as one of the best high school players in the country, Isaiah Evans (five-star), Kon Knueppel (four-star), and Patrick Ngongba (four-star).

Harris received offers from six other schools, along with Duke, but ultimately decided that he wanted to continue to build upon what Jon Scheyer has done in his tenure as head coach.
