2. Miles Sanders, RB

The writing is on the wall for Sanders in Carolina – and maybe in the NFL, too. 

He signed a 4-year, $25 million contract in the 2023 offseason, but Carolina clearly doesn’t have much faith in him anymore. They kept Chuba Hubbard, signed Penny and drafted Brooks (No. 46 overall).

And that’s for good reason. Sanders played in 16 games last year, but managed just 432 rushing yards (3.3 yards per carry) with 27 receptions for 154 yards and ONE touchdown all year.

If he struggles again and any of his backfield mates find success, it’s hard to see how Sanders has a meaningful role in this offense going forward.

If he does bounce back, though, he could quickly turn Carolina's backfield into a position of strength rather than a mismash of players.
