Nikola Jokic is a Big Fan of NC State Star DJ Burns

After the Denver Nuggets' win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, the Serbian superstar took to the podium. Saying that he was watching the NC State-Duke game in the locker room, Jokic couldn't help but be impressed by the stellar play of DJ Burns, who finished the game with 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

"I think he's so skilled, especially lefty...seems like teammates like to play with him. That'd be a good guy."

Getting this praise from arguably the best player in the world right now is huge for Burns. Not only is Jokic the frontrunner to win his third MVP award this season, but his playing style is also similar to the NC State big man's. Both are excellent post players with great footwork and passing skills with a plethora of ways to score.

Jokic is the perfect player for Burns to replicate his game around going forward and he seems to be aware of that.

The NC State Wolfpack will need DJ Burns to continue his heater during the Final Four. They are currently significant underdogs with +1800 odds to win the national championship on FanDuel Sportsbook.
