This is certainly a shocking development. Only a few weeks ago, NC State looked dead in the water, entering the ACC Tournament as a tenth seed and no hopes of postseason basketball.
Fast forward two weeks and the Wolfpack are two games away from making their first Final Four appearance since 1983.
NC State is about to face Marquette on Friday, Mar. 29 in the Sweet 16 matchup. If they take care of the Golden Eagles, they are slated to face the winner of the Houston vs. Duke game.
The Wolfpack already beat Duke recently in the ACC Tournament and Houston is dealing with a ton of injuries right now. Neither team looks unbeatable for the red-hot NC State who has won seven straight.
