We are only a month away from the 2024 NBA Draft. Teams will spend the next few weeks evaluating prospects, bringing them in for interviews, and finalizing their big board. Players, on the other hand, will try to make a last impression and make sure their names are read on June 26-27.

One of those players with hopes of getting drafted is DJ Burns of NC State. After bursting onto the scene in the NCAA Tournament, Burns has become a fan favorite across the country. Now, he is trying to make his way into the NBA and it looks like he just had a huge pre-draft workout.

In the Instagram post he just shared this week, Burns is seen working out in the Lakers facility.

NC State's DJ Burns Works Out in Lakers Facility

As of now, we don't know too many details about the workout. Whether this was a pro day held by Klutch Sports, an individual workout just for the Lakers, or part of a bigger workout is unknown. What is known, however, is the fact that members of the Lakers top brass definitely saw Burns work out.

The Lakers have the 17th and 55th overall picks in the draft. Bronny James is often mentioned as a likely second-round selection for Los Angeles. The Lakers will be active throughout the draft, making trades to improve their roster, so they might end up with fewer or more draft picks than they do now.

Burns is considered a late second-round pick or an undrafted free agent. Teams can always sign him after the draft, including the Lakers. Burns' popularity could be a reason a team takes a flyer on. His post game, size, and interior presence could also make him an intriguing depth option in the NBA but that remains to be seen.
