North Carolina is back on track after three straight victories and claimed the first place in the ACC as we enter the final week of the season. They have a difficult slate of games to close out the regular season, and it starts against their in-state rivals, the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
NC State has had an up-and-down season. When D.J. Horne and D.J. Burns Jr. are playing well, they can stay in games and play even with the best of them. But both seniors, especially Burns, struggle with consistency, causing the Wolfpack to drop games they should be winning. They will have their hands full against a Tar Heels defense that is elite when they are locked in.

The Wolfpack has enough talent to stay in games. They have scored at least 78 points in their last five games. Granted, none of them were against a defense like North Carolina, but it demonstrates their ability to put up points in a pinch. They will also have revenge on their minds as they dropped the first leg of the series, 67-54 at home.
North Carolina should come away with the win but I expect a close game where the Wolfpack keep it within the 10.5 spread.
