The Wolfpack needs to build a winning streak ahead of March.

After a disappointing home loss to Syracuse last week that put their NCAA tournament hopes in serious jeopardy, the North Carolina State Wolfpack bounced back and took care of Boston College. At 9-7 in ACC play, they still have a lot of work to do in their last four games to make their case ahead of March Madness.
That will start on the road against the Florida State Seminoles on Tuesday.

Fortunately for the Wolfpack, Florida State is a beatable team on the road. They have one of the weaker home records in the conference and they have been struggling recently. After starting the ACC play 6-1, they have lost seven of their last nine games.
Florida State struggles to score against solid defenses. They can't create good looks and they don't have great three-point shooters to put points on the board in a pinch. In fact, they have made the second-fewest threes in the conference and only shoot 31.8% from downtown.
However, they are a respectable defensive team, rated 52nd in the entire country in KenPom College Basketball Ratings. This allows them to stay in games, as demonstrated by their close losses to Duke, Virginia, and UNC over the last month.
NC State similarly stays in games regardless of the opponent. Six out of the last seven NC State games were all decided with less than two possessions. This should be a close one against the Seminoles as well.
These are two evenly matched teams, so it's hard to pick a winner, but I expect a low-scoring affair.
