It's North Carolina-Duke week, and it couldn't have come at a better time. With the constantly frustrating discourse of the weakening ACC and how there are only two tournament-caliber teams in the conference, it's an excellent opportunity for these teams to show that they are as good as any group in the country.

UNC Tar Heels continue to separate themselves from the rest of the pack in the ACC as they kept rolling last week with impressive wins against Wake Forest and Florida State. They are still undefeated in conference play with R.J. Davis proving himself to be one of the best scorers in the nation. Eight of their nine games in the league were double-digit wins. But, they showed that they can win a close one in their comeback win over the Seminoles on Saturday.

Duke, on the other hand, squeezed out a one-point victory against Clemson on the back of Tyrese Proctor's last second free throws. They have, however, only lost once in their last eleven games.

With both teams rolling, how do they stand in the ACC and what do their schedules look like this week?

Duke visits Virginia Tech, who are 10-1 at home this season, on Monday night. They will look to build momentum ahead of their massive clash against UNC on Saturday, February 3.

The Tar Heels, on the other hand, have an easier matchup as they take on Georgia Tech on the road on Tuesday.

Both teams are favored in their games during the week, but their eyes will be set on the weekend clash. The Blue Devils need to win both of their games this week to make sure UNC doesn't run away with the ACC regular-season title.

UNC is currently a -615 favorite to win the ACC regular-season championship with Duke coming in second with +445.
