3. Even When Jeremy Roach is Human, He's Not

We mentioned Jeremy Roach's ridiculous hot streak after the win over Louisville, and he rebounded from a clunker against Virginia to pour in 21 points against NC State.

Roach managed only six points on 3-of-9 shooting in the win over the Cavaliers but made 9-of-17, mostly by dashing into the paint to finish inside. He made just one of seven three-pointers after missing all four attempts from beyond the arc in the Virginia game, though I expect he'll bounce back to his absurd levels in time for postseason play.

He's still shooting 44% from three-point range on the season despite his 1-of-11 stretch, coming right after he made 21 of 40 three-pointers in a scorching hot month. Especially if Stewart provides a spark offensively, it's nearly impossible to guard a Duke team featuring those two, Filipowski, Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor.

Duke's NCAA Championship odds are down to +2300, meaning a $10 bet would profit $230 if they win, so it appears the rest of the country is taking notice of how impressive the Blue Devils have been lately.

If they can pull off a win over North Carolina to clinch a share of the ACC Title, Roach's exceptional efforts of late will be a massive reason why. Saturday will be quite the showdown and we know the Cameron Crazies will make their voices heard one last time in this regular season.
