Even though the NBA Finals are currently ongoing, the rest of the league has turned their attention to the draft, scheduled to take place on June 26-27. NBA hopefuls will wait for their names to be called among the 58 players who will be selected. One of those prospects is North Carolina forward Harrison Ingram.

After transferring from Stanford last year, Ingram had a solid junior season as a Tar Heel, averaging career-highs in points and rebounds per game, as well as his field goal and three-point shooting percentages. This improvement in his shooting, combined with his 6'6 frame and an impressive wingspan, makes him an intriguing wing prospect in a league bereft of high-level two-way forwards.

However, the fact that Ingram will turn 22 in his rookie season makes him more of a low-ceiling player in the eyes of some NBA teams. This will likely cap his potential draft spot at a late first-round, early second-round selection. Let's take a look at the most likely teams that can target Ingram with their draft picks in that range.

Indiana Pacers

Ingram and the Pacers had a pre-draft workout scheduled but he had to sit out last week due to a minor injury. However, Indiana remains one of the most commonly projected landing spots for Ingram and this makes a ton of sense.

The Pacers have the 36th-overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and if Ingram is still there, they would presumably not miss the opportunity to select him. Indiana made the Conference Finals this season but needs to get better on the defensive end. They need more athleticism and rebounding from their wings because they have one of the worst rebounding centers in the league Myles Turner.

Considering that rebounding is one of Ingram's calling cards, Indiana is a natural fit.
