The No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament is moving on to the Semi-Finals after a textbook annihilation of the Florida State Seminoles. North Carolina won 92-67 in one of the Tar Heels' most impressive performances of the season, looking like true NCAA Tournament contenders as we approach Selection Sunday.

North Carolina utilized a balanced approach with nearly everyone playing well. Four different players scored in double figures and aside from a tight first 10 minutes, the game was never in doubt.

Currently sitting at +2000 to cut down the nets, North Carolina looks as good as any team in the country. As we await to see who the Tar Heels will face on Friday, here are three big observations from the dominant win:

3 Noteworthy Observations From UNC's Blowout Win in ACC Tournament

1. This Team Has an Obvious Championship Formula

Teams that win championships in college basketball typically follow a similar formula. They're balanced and experienced, typically with a star guard and quality big man. They protect the ball and shoot free throws well while protecting the paint and owning the glass.

That description sounds an awful lot like these Tar Heels, doesn't it? RJ Davis is the ACC Player of the Year. Fellow senior Armando Bacot is a force in the paint with the most rebounds in North Carolina history, and you've got an overall advanced statistical profile that looks like a champion.

North Carolina's season-long offensive metrics are underwhelming, but they've turned things up a notch in recent weeks. The Tar Heels have 75+ points in nine of their last 10 games, and they've got a sparkling resume otherwise.

They're 12th in opponent effective field goal percentage (46%), 14th in defensive rebounding percentage (24%) and 245th in KenPom's "luck" rating, meaning they're a better team than their record indicates.

This is shaping up to be a special season for Tar Heels fans and the squad is clicking at the right time.
