3. Harrison Ingram Needs to Snap Out of His Slump

The Tar Heels' third leading scorer is trapped in a bit of a scoring slump. He's still an excellent rebounder, with double-digit boards in five of his last six games, but he shot just 5-of-16 from the field and 1-of-8 from three-point range for 11 points, continuing a stretch of concerning offensive play.

Ingram scored 22 points against NC State, though had only 15 points combined in the previous two contests, shooting 6-19 in the process. If RJ Davis' shot isn't falling and Bacot is getting swarmed down low, Ingram will need to step up and knock down shots to keep the offense flowing.

This kind of complete performance is what Tar Heels fans hope to see out of Ingram in the ACC Tournament and beyond. When he's right, few teams in the country boast a top three as powerful and complete as North Carolina.

Players like Cormac Ryan are capable of picking up some slack, but Ingram is a key piece if the Tar Heels are going to reach their true ceiling.

I'll be watching him closely on Saturday against Duke. He was superb in the first matchup with 21 points, 13 rebounds and four steals and that's the kind of effort North Carolina will need from Ingram this weekend.
