The Carolina Panthers are going through a transformative offseason. With general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales taking over as the key decision-makers, the Panthers have done a solid job turning over the roster after the disastrous 2-15 season. Things are looking up in Carolina but there are still a few holes that need to be filled.

Fortunately for the Panthers, there are still a few free agents available who could help this team. Let's take a look at the best options on the market for Carolina.

Logan Thomas, TE

The Panthers did an excellent job reshaping their offensive unit, upgrading their playmakers with the additions of Diontae Johnson, Xavier Legette, and Jonathon Brooks. They also signed Robert Hunt, Damien Lewis, and Yosh Nijman to their offensive line to completely change the starting rotation there. This should almost certainly help the offense become more dynamic and dangerous next season.

One area of the offense that didn't go through a serious transformation is the tight end rotation. Carolina selected Ja'Tavion Sanders out of Texas with their fourth-round pick in the draft but their starting tight end projects to be Tommy Tremble for now.

Tremble has shown flashes here and there in his three seasons with the Panthers but has failed to establish himself as a quality starter.

Logan Thomas, on the other hand, despite not being in his prime anymore, is a solid option there. The 32-year-old who spent the last four seasons with the Washington Commanders can still be a decent pass-catcher with his big, 6'6 frame. He finished the 2023 campaign with 55 catches, 496 yards, and four touchdowns.

Considering that he is still on the market, he should be easily acquirable for the Panthers.
