6. Lennie Rosenbluth
It’s hard to find many UNC players with better stats than Rosenbluth.
The 1956-57 ACC Player of the Year and Consensus All-American led UNC to the 1957 National Championship – the first in program history – in a triple-overtime win over Kansas in which he scored a team-high 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting.
That senior season he had: 28 points per game, 8.8 rebounds per game and shot 48.3% from the field while leading the Tar Heels to a perfect 32-0 record.
He played so well as a senior that he was even named the Helms Hall of Fame Collegiate Player of the Year over Wilt Chamberlain.
