The Carolina Panthers have been one of the most active teams of free agency, breaking the bank for a few positions of need. Safety Tre'Von Moehrig, defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton, pass rusher Patrick Jones II, and defensive tackle Bobby Brown III were all signed to lucrative deals. The defensive unit that finished dead last both in terms of points and total offense allowed last season will look entirely different next season.

In fact, Panthers GM Dan Morgan revealed that they are not done yet. In his latest remarks, Morgan said that despite hitting on all their targets except Milton Williams, the Panthers still have work to do, per USA Today's Anthony Rizzuti.

Morgan added that the big splashes they made in the offseason will allow them to be flexible in the draft, where they have nine picks.

"Yeah, I think we pretty much hit on all our targets...I think we addressed some needs that we have. We're far from done. There's a lot of work to do. And we're excited about the draft. We have nine picks, and we're gonna go attack it."

In addition to signing external free agents, the Panthers also gave a four-year, $100 million contract extension to talented cornerback Jaycee Horn. Opposite Horn, Michael Jackson is also returning in 2025, giving the Panthers continuity on the defensive backfield.

At the same time, the Panthers still have a few weaknesses, especially on the offensive end. Another elite pass-catcher despite Adam Thielen coming back would be a huge addition. The offensive line, although much improved from Bryce Young's rookie season, could also use more talent and depth. It's safe to assume that GM Morgan will use Carolina's draft capital to address the offensive side of the ball next.
