The Carolina Panthers haven't been one of the teams who stayed quiet this offseason, as they've made some meaningful additions in free agency. That list includes Tershawn Wharton, Tre'von Moehrig, Pat Jones II, and Bobby Brown III to name a few.

While they've brought in different names for the 2025 campaign and beyond, former players have also latched on to other teams in the league.

On Thursday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that former Panthers WR Terrace Marshall Jr. has agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal.

NFL News: Terrace Marshall Jr. Signs With Eagles

Marshall Jr. was drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and was brought in to be a nice deep threat who owned good size (6-foot-2) to make contested catches when needed.

Despite the high expectations, Marshall wasn't able to showcase that skillset with the Panthers. Over three seasons (36 games & 16 starts), he finished 64 catches (110 targets) for 767 receiving yards and one touchdown.

After those three disappointing seasons, the Panthers decided to cut Marshall in Aug. 2024 during roster trim-down time. He then landed on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad for a short time before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders.

He didn't make much of an impact with the Raiders either, logging three catches for 41 yards in seven games.

In spite of his underwhelming NFL career thus far, Marshall has found a way to land on the Eagles roster. Philadelphia's offense is loaded with the likes of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith.

Marshall will get a chance to compete during training camp and fight to become WR3 or WR4 on that roster. The Eagles clearly like the traits that Marshall brings to the table and believe they could get more out of him.

He hasn't been able to showcase that on three different teams but the 24-year-old hopes to capitalize with the Eagles.
