Following the post, NBA star Kevin Love reached out on Instagram to express his support. Singler's initial post can be read as a cry for help. Now, Blue Devils fans are worried about him and hope he gets the help he needs.
Singler was a four-year starter at Duke, winning the 2010 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award en route to a championship. He's beloved and one of the best Blue Devils in recent memory, indicating not even the most accomplished among us are immune from serious mental health issues.

Singler said he fears for his life every day, prompting Love to respond saying, "I love you Kyle. Hit me whenever. Please."
