Ever since head coach Jon Scheyer took over from Coach K in 2022, Duke has found a ton of success in recruiting. He has had the top recruiting class in the country in his first season, as well as in 2024, headlined by Cooper Flagg and Khaman Maluach.

It looks like the Blue Devils are not slowing down any time soon. Duke just received the biggest commitment so far from the Class of 2025 as five-star recruit Cameron Boozer announced his decision. The No. 2 player in the country on ESPN 100 will be wearing a Duke jersey next to his brother Cayden, a four-star recruit and No. 21 in the class.

NCAA Basketball News: Cameron & Cayden Boozer Commit to Duke

Cameron and Cayden have been teammates at Christopher Columbus High School in Westchester, Florida. Cameron, a 6-foot-9 power forward is one of the most decorated high school players in recent years. He won Mr. Basketball USA and Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2023 while winning MVPs for Team USA in the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2024 and FIBA U16 Americas Championship in 2023.

Cayden, his fraternal brother, is a 6-foot-4 point guard who is a highly-touted prospect in his own right.

The only prospect ranked higher than Boozer is A.J. Dybantsa who hasn't announced his commitment yet but is between Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Kansas, Kansas State, and North Carolina.

Getting the commitments of the Boozer twins is especially significant for Duke fans as their father Carlos Boozer is a Blue Devils legend. He was a huge part of the 2001 NCAA championship team. In his three seasons at Duke, he averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
