Tyrese Proctor

The Australian guard is entering his third season with the team, so there is no guarantee that he will leave after the 2024-25 campaign. Tyrese Proctor could have declared for the draft after each of his first two seasons at Duke but decided to stay. Now, as one of the older players on the team, Proctor will have an expanded role as a team leader.

This will give him a chance to boost his draft stock and go pro.

Proctor showed gradual improvement in his sophomore campaign, increasing his averages to 10.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He still needs to improve his shooting and scoring to become a high-level player but he has intriguing size and playmaking ability that could help him make a leap in his junior year.

Spencer Hubbard, Neal Begovich & Stanley Borden

Duke will have multiple upperclassmen playing their final season with the team. The list is a longer one that includes the likes of Cameron Sheffield and Mason Gillis as well but the most notable three names are Spencer Hubbard, Neal Begovich, and Stanley Bordern.

Hubbard, a 5-foot-8 guard, has been a fan favorite at Cameron Indoor Stadium ever since he walked on as a sophomore in the 2021-22 season.

Begovich transferred from Stanford to Duke before last season and played a small role in eight games. The 6'9 big man will provide depth off the bench next year.

Borden is the other seven-footer on the team besides Khaman Maluach. Originally from Turkey, Borden didn't see any game action last season. He will wait for his chance as a deep bench option in the frontcourt next season.
