2. Jonathan Mingo, WR

While Johnson and Christian Kirk have received all the attention ahead of the deadline, Mingo has fallen under the radar, but he could be moved at the trade deadline.

On Sunday’s edition of Fantasy Football Now, ESPN’s Dan Graziano mentioned that Mingo could be one of several wide receivers on the move. It’s not shocking to see the second-year wide receiver could be traded as he hasn’t made a noticeable impact.

This season, the former Ole Miss standout has 12 receptions (22 targets) for 121 yards across seven games. Mingo seemed like a prime candidate to step up after Adam Thielen went down with a severe hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, since Week 3, Mingo has only recorded nine receptions (15 targets) for 80 yards. The Panthers shouldn’t expect much in return if they trade him. As a rookie in 2023, Mingo posted 43 receptions (85 targets) for 418 yards.

With Mingo still on his rookie deal, a team such as the Steelers, who didn’t do much to address the WR spot in the offseason, could take a flier on him. Even though things haven’t worked out to this point in Carolina, maybe Mingo will get a fresh start elsewhere or maybe the Panthers shock us and keep him past the deadline.
