The NFL will host its annual awards show on Saturday night. Here are the Carolina Panthers team awards for 2019.

When the NFL hosts its annual awards banquet on Saturday night, the Carolina Panthers likely won’t have anyone win an award based on on-field performance. Quarterback Cam Newton is a nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, and won the charity challenge in January; however, the award is based strictly on work in the community–not game action. With that being said, Carolina won’t have anyone else aside from Newton that could win an award Saturday night.

Despite the Panthers not having anyone who will be honored league-wide, they still had a few players who are certainly worthy of recognition. Christian McCaffrey had one of the best all-around seasons of any running back in recent memory, others had breakout seasons, and even more showed signs of intriguing potential moving forward. As a result, Old North Banter has given out team awards. Among the awards are team MVP, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, and Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year. A Special Teams Player of the Year will also be honored.
