#1 He has lost all confidence in the intellect of this current generation of Duke students.

He thought they were chanting “start the bus” and he was afraid that they thought it was the end of the second half and not the first.

#2 He will never throw his players under the bus…but other Duke students?

He lives by the mantra of never throwing his players under the bus but that does not extend to the rest of the Duke student body.

#3 He had years of “Shut Ups” stored away for Dick Vitale

After years of listening to “Dickie V” call Duke games he had to find an outlet to let out just a few of the “Shut Ups” he wanted to say to him.

#4 It was the first time all year that he realized the Cameron Crazies were there. 

The Crazies aren’t what they used to be perhaps? Maybe it’s all the distractions of the digital age or maybe they are just spoiled with how good the Blue Devils have been for as long as they have been alive.

Let’s be honest, that guy looks kind of sleepy most of the time.
