Kemba Walker, PG

Without question the greatest Hornet of all-time, Kemba Walker is a no-brainer as the all-decade point guard. In fact, there’s really no one that can compare to what Walker has done for the organization in the past 10 years. From 2012 to 2019, he played 605 games in a Hornets uniform, and set franchise records in points, minutes, field goals, and three-pointers. He also ranks second in assists and third in steals in team history. During the decade, he’s first in each of the above categories.

Throughout his time with the Hornets, Walker grew as a scorer, a passer, and a defender. He was three times named an All-Star during his tenure in Charlotte, and made his first All-NBA team in his final season with the team. Throughout his entire stay with the Hornets, he was a leader both on and off the court, and left as perhaps the most beloved Charlotte Hornet of all-time.

Stephen Jackson, SG

Aside from Walker, the other guard spot on the all-decade team could’ve gone to a handful of different players. Several guys could make legitimate cases for the second spot, however, Stephen Jackson trumps them all. He played 139 games for Charlotte (then the Bobcats) during the decade, averaging an impressive 19.8 points per game to go with five rebounds and four assists. He led the Bobcats in scoring in both of his two seasons with the franchise, and took them to the playoffs in 2010. Jeremy Lamb gets an honorable mention for this position.
