The Panthers will learn their draft fate next week, as they currently sit as the No. 8 overall pick.

The Panthers will finish off a disappointing 2019 season with a match-up with the surging New Orleans Saints on Sunday. A loss will guarantee the Panthers a Top-10 pick and an outside shot at vaulting into the top five. Currently, the Panthers sit at No. 8, a perfect landing spot for a team with a myriad of needs.

There were many different directions the Panthers could go in this draft. At the end of this draft, the Panthers improve their run defense massively, as well as add a potential quarterback of the future.

The Panthers have done well in recent drafts, adding studs like Brian Burns, D.J. Moore, and Christian McCaffrey in the first round.

In addition, the Panthers have an elite track record of adding top talent when picking in the Top 10. Carolina has added McCaffrey, Luke Kuechly, Cam Newton, Julius Peppers, and Jordan Gross using Top 10 picks.

Who will be this year’s selection? Will the Panthers use the pick on the struggling offense or a defense that has been gashed by opposing running backs all season? Keep reading for a full seven-round mock of the 2020 Carolina Panthers draft.
