Special Teams

Graham Gano, K

Of all the players to suit up for the Carolina Panthers, only John Kasay has more points to his name than Graham Gano. Since joining the Panthers in 2012, Gano has made 165 field goals, including 20 from 50+ yards. He was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2017 after making 29 of 30 field goals. In Week Five of last season, Gano made a career-long 63-yard game-winning field goal as time expired–good enough for second-longest of all-time. No Panther scored more points in the decade than Gano.

Ted Ginn Jr., KR/PR

In just three years with the Panthers, Ginn ranks third all-time in team history in punt return yards, and fifth in kick return yards. When Carolina first signed Ginn in 2013, the move was thought to be purely for special teams purposes. Both before and during his time with the team, he was one of the most feared returners in the game. Since the end of his second stint with Carolina in 2016, the Panthers have yet to find a consistent return threat. Steve Smith may have been the team’s best return man ever, but Ginn definitely earned that honor during the 2010s.
