No. 2: Carter-Finley Stadium

Okay, I know this isn’t a person or team, but how can you not be thankful for Carter-Finley Stadium every single year? There’s nothing quite like a rocking Carter-Finley Stadium for a big night game.
Opened in 1966, it originally had only 14,000 permanent seats, a far cry from the 57,583 it holds today. Since then, it has been a house of horrors for many an ACC foe.
Add in the fact that alcohol sales are now legal at Carter-Finley Stadium and now it’s a perfect place to watch a football game.
I’m thankful for this moment at Carter-Finley:

What a way for No. 24 NC State to seal a victory over Lamar Jackson and No. 17 Louisville. pic.twitter.com/1svOlzzGZm

True N.C. State fans will understand. And while Carter-Finley Stadium hasn’t experienced a ton of great moments in the last few years, the magic is always ready to return for a primetime night game.
