Last weekend’s loss to the Chargers marked Davante Adams’ first game since Week Four against the Eagles. The Packers’ star receiver was dominant prior to a turf-toe injury, as he posted an impressive 378 yards and 25 receptions over the first three-and-a-half games. Adams has been Aaron Rodgers’ go-to receiver for the past several years now, and when he’s healthy, he’s among the best in football.

Adams had a rough outing last week in his first game back, so if his past is any indication, he and Rodgers are both in for big days–especially since they’re at home. With that being said, the Panthers defense needs to limit Green Bay’s dynamic duo in order to give themselves a chance. Fortunately for the Panthers, they have two above-average corners in James Bradberry and Donte Jackson.

Bradberry will likely draw the primary assignment of following Adams, and so far this season, he has held opposing number-one receivers on lockdown. In a contract year, he has given up over 100 yards only one time and has yet to give up a touchdown–despite covering the likes of Robert Woods, Mike Evans (twice), and DeAndre Hopkins. It’s time Carolina gives Bradberry the big extension he deserves.
