On Thursday night, Kemba Walker will make his first return to Charlotte since departing the Hornets this offseason.

For the first time in his nine-year NBA career, Kemba Walker will be a visitor in Charlotte when his Boston Celtics travel to face the Hornets on Thursday night. In eight seasons with Charlotte, Walker broke numerous franchise records and became the best (and most popular) player the organization has ever seen. Over the entire course of his Hornets career, he averaged 19.8 points and 5.5 assists per game, as well as being named to three All-Star teams and one All-NBA selection. In honor of Walker’s return to Charlotte, here are his top-five moments in the Purple and Teal.
