Duke’s three-point struggles have continued into this season

Last season, the Blue Devils finished outside the top 300 in three-point percentage, making just 30.8% of their attempts. This season isn’t off to a much better start. In the opener against the Jayhawks, Duke made just 8 of 24 threes, good for just a 33% clip. In a conference where Virginia and UNC are Duke’s top challengers, it’s something the Devils need to sort out. Not to mention that the December 3rd road date with Michigan State could help determine seeding come March. One shooter Duke really needs to step up is junior Alex O’Connell.
