The Charlotte Hornets capped off a six-day road trip to the state of California with a 93-87 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

After the Hornets had two home games to start off the season, Charlotte hit the road for four-straight road games in the state of California. The road trip began with a back-to-back against the Lakers and Clippers, before finishing up with dates against the Kings and Warriors. Particularly for an Eastern Conference team, the four-game California visit is one of the most difficult parts of the schedule a team can face. The Hornets return home with an overall 3-3 record and wins over Sacramento and Golden State. For more on the Hornets’ trip out West, here are five takeaways from the four-game swing.
