6. UNC-Greensboro Spartans (29-7)

Greensboro had a phenomenal season last year but failed to win their conference tournament. They nearly made the Big Dance as an at large, but ended up as a 1-seed in the NIT and lost in the second round to Lipscomb. The Spartans lose leading scorer Francis Alonso but do return their second-leading scorer and leader in steals in Isaiah Miller. They face a stiff test in their second game at third-ranked Kansas. They also play at Georgetown at the end of November and get NC State at home in December.
