Ranking the top 8 college basketball teams in North Carolina entering the 2019-20 season

As the new college basketball season is quickly approaching, preseason expectations are running high for several North Carolina schools. Duke and UNC figure to be national title contenders, while others look to make waves on the national scene. With that being said, here are Old North Banter’s preseason “Elite 8” in North Carolina. For purposes of this article, all Division I teams in the state are considered, with last season’s records indicated in parentheses.
