October Game by Game Predictions for the Charlotte Hornets
October 30th – Sacramento Kings
Tempting as it may be to look on the calendar and see the Kings as a relief, you’d be mistaken to assume the Kings are a pushover. No, the Kings can’t match the firepower that the Clippers and Lakers possess, but Sacramento has a plethora of playmakers.
It all starts with electric guard De’Aaron Fox, who averaged 17.3 points a game in his second NBA season.
Desperate to not leave California winless, the Hornets will need to prioritize beating the Kings in the penultimate game of the West Coast road trip. Charlotte will face Golden State a few nights later, leaving no room for error.
With his team needing a win, Rozier steps up in a big way with his breakout game as a Hornet. Rozier drops 39 points and adds nine assists in what we’ll look back on as his best game of the season.
Sadly for the Hornets and their fans, the Kings are a potential playoff team in the Western Conference and take advantage of the Hornets’ lack of depth to pull out a nailbiter in overtime.
